Service Description

When climbing longer routes, setting up a neat belay stance and managing transitions can mean the difference between finishing a climb in daylight or after dark, and can save a lot of frustration and time. In this 1-hour session, climbers will be presented with several different techniques that can help climbs go smoothly, including planning the belay, managing one or two ropes, and transferring the belay and equipment efficiently. Previous multi-pitch experience is helpful, as the talk will skip over general aspects of multi-pitch climbing due to time constraints. Please note: there is no public washroom in the shop.
